Prince Harry ‘contacted Princess Kate after leaving UK but You Can’t Believe The Response

Prince Harry reportedly reached out to Princess Kate in the wake of his feud with the Royal Family but she refused to “play peacemaker”. Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to California, with their rift with the Firm only deepening due to their tell-all interviews, Netflix documentary and the Duke’s memoir Spare. Although Harry and his brother Prince William, Kate’s husband, are barely on speaking terms a royal expert claimed he has reached out to the Princess since his move to the US.

Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “Since leaving the UK, Harry has actually contacted at least one royal: Kate. She is sympathetic, but fully supports her husband and, struggling with her own health problems, has no intention of playing peacemaker.” The Princess of Wales announced in a video posted online on March 22 that she is receiving preventative chemotherapy having been diagnosed with cancer. Harry and Meghan posted a public message of support to Kate upon hearing the news, saying: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

It is also understood that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reached out to her privately, but it is not known exactly how much contact they have. Harry and William’s relationship remains in tatters, with a friend of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s saying that any hopes the Duke has for a reconciliation are a “fantasy”. A source close to the Prince of Wales told The Daily Beast: “Meeting with Harry is the last thing that William or Catherine want or need right now. “It’s a fantasy. It’s not about apologies or who said what, it is about protecting his family. Kate is recovering from cancer, and they are avoiding stressful situations.”

There have been rumours that the King is just as eager as his youngest son to patch things up and he may even extend an invitation to the Sussexes to join the family at Balmoral. But another source dismissed these claims, saying: “The idea that Harry and the kids are going to descend on Balmoral this summer is wishful thinking. It’s all just very sad.”

Christopher Andersen, author of The King: The Life of Charles III, told Fox News Digital: “Charles and William have chosen to ignore Harry, to freeze him out, and to not let him get under their skin when they are facing so many critical challenges. In a way, I think that is even sadder. It’s been said that hate isn’t the opposite of love – indifference is.”

Harry did not meet any senior members of the Royal Family when he was in London earlier this month to attend the 10th anniversary service for the Invictus Games.
