Meghan Markle’s latest move will see a ‘few sighs of relief around Buckingham Palace’
Meghan Markle recently launched her American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand, which has so far focused on producing artisan jam
Meghan Markle’s latest venture into the world of lifestyle branding, with American Riviera Orchard, has reportedly left the Royal Family feeling relieved, sources have suggested. The Duchess of Sussex recently unveiled her new artisan jam range on Instagram, sending out 50 jars of the gourmet spread to celebrity friends for social media promotion. This move marks a departure from the anticipated release of a revealing Royal book by Meghan, which had been widely speculated about by Royal experts.
Meghan Markle makes heartbreaking plea amid Royal Family feud in viral video
Emma Clifton, a writer for Australian Women’s Weekly, opined that Meghan’s focus on her American Riviera Orchard brand is likely to be well-received by the royals. Celebrity PR expert Waylon Tate claimed to the publication that Meghan appears to be positioning this as her solo project, distinct from previous collaborations with Prince Harry on Netflix and Spotify deals, reports the Express.
Royal fans issue the same complaint as Prince Harry and Meghan given new ‘royal titles’
Tate remarked: “What I’ve seen so far, although she’s been pretty clandestine about it everything surrounding this new brand, is that it’s Meghan and it’s Meghan alone. You can even see it on Instagram. It’s not Meghan and Harry – it’s by Meghan.” He added: “This is the emancipation of Meghan. It’s her saying, ‘I’m a smart, savvy businesswoman. And here’s an introduction to my family on my terms’.” Clifton also noted: “Considering how much anticipation there was for Meghan’s supposed ‘tell-all-novel’, her pivot into domestic goddess should surely mean there are a few sighs of relief around the palace…for now.”
Prince Harry Details ‘Hardest Thing’ About Dealing With Grief as a Kid
Despite Harry’s 2021 memoir release, ‘Spare’, he reportedly put a stop to Meghan’s memoir plans. PR guru Mayah Riaz told The Daily Mirror that Harry’s intervention was a “prudent” step. She remarked: “If it is true that Prince Harry has ‘blocked’ Meghan from writing a memoir, this seems to be a prudent move in their efforts to build bridges with the Royal Family. It suggests that Harry intends to avoid further controversy and maintain a more positive relationship with his family.”
Meghan’s next venture appears to be dog biscuits, with Harry’s pal Nacho Figueras teasing a chic glass jar filled with treats. However, fans are left in suspense as there’s still no official word on when the American Riviera Orchard products will hit the market.
